Last Tuesday, 17th April and as usual, I always look forward for the available updates from my blog mates and finally, I read this from Dakota’s Blog - DesignerRoad Kill.

I remembered watching the video clips when I was 19. It took me a very long period to forget about it, feeling powerless for not being able to help these animals. I used to work for high end fashion brands like Lanvin, Gucci & Gianni Versace. Back then, I was unaware of the killings and the sufferings of the poor animals in this world. I didn’t know that these animals have been the fashion victims. Even so I knew that the leather goods were made of the animals’ skin, felt happy for the good money that I earned for selling the designers stuffs but the killing process did not come into my mind until I watch the video clips. I remember that I cried watching it. I even had nightmares for many nights.

Now, my heart was again broken by the fact it is still happening. I can’t tell you how angry & bitter I felt. How I wish I could help all the suffering animals in this world. How I wish I can put a complete stop to their barbaric behaviours. The scenes from the video clips keep playing in my mind. I can’t stop thinking about it again. They really don’t deserve this kind of treatment.

No wonder their countries are attack by constant disasters. Just look at what they do to these beautiful creatures. It’s called “Retributions”!

Continue Reading and don’t turn a Blind Eye on this. Let us all spread the message around. You can’t imagine the number of killings that we can stop. I really hope that this will come to an end. 

even a bear can be tame, let alone a relationship..

to make it up for my wrong doings yesterday, I, unexpectedly, decided to bake cookies for the bf. Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies nothing fancy la. it's just baking. it's kacang putih compared to cooking. ( I think. ) ok so. after much bickering with my myself on whether 1/2 cup = to 100 gram or so, and also abit of help from a friend, i got down to business.




it's easy. just that, the baking part is abit time-consuming. each batch around 15-20 mins. and i've got like 4 or is it 5 batches.

was REALLY praying hard that I can make it in time to finish baking, get all dressed up and ready for the bf, fetch him from work and perhaps surprise him with the cookies. but due to my poor time management, we met at Tampines instead.

he was kinda pissed that i was late but hah! the cookies made him want more of me the cookies! hee. =p and soon enough, the cookies took effect and was over powering the why are you late issue. what would i do without them cookies? hee.

we talked alot today and the pretty stars that twinkle² like no ones business kept us company. :)

another month has past my dear and you still feel like we're at our 1st. sheesh.. them cookies really do wonders ey? or is it that extra zest that mistakenly dropped in when i was busy baking them cookies waayy before i had the chance to take my shower? hee..

but i brushed/scrubed/flossed my teeth hor..

1st day of work. kinda nice to be working again. not full-time though. I'm a part-timer that works FULL TIME SHIFT. the hours not bad la. 8hrs. starts at 10.30 in the morning & ends at 730pm. it works for me. =) my leg is kill me as i type this entry. standing the whole day and only sitting for 1 hr. bluek.

oh oh..guess what guess what? i saw OLINDA!! you know, the one who was 3rd in Singapore Idol!! she's so friendly! haha. OLINDA, if you're reading this, COME OFTEN!! haha.

i ought to be resting. i should get as much rest as possible.

i'm one happy shopper la people! a pair of skinny jeans, a black gauchos ( i think that's what it's called) and a pair of jelly shoes all in a day. how can you possible be not bloody happy right?!?! bloody happy, yes i am! =D *big wide smile*

was out with my parents today. and gosh, it's been a very long LONG time since i did that. hah! =p we were in search of party plastic bags. you know, the ones that u stuff sweet and other sinful treats in it? ala. something like goody bag la.. just pretend to know can? =) ok. so my mom being not so little miss-know-it-all, told us that the place is easily located at High Street/Colombo Court.

so ok la. we dropped at BUGIS. then suddenly my dad was fired up and said it's over at City Hall. so we U-turned. we walked from City Hall MRT to Funan IT mall but further up. guess what guess what? MY MOMSIE WAS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! i lectured her because she's just stubborn at times. umpteen times, i've advised her to just call up my auntie to know the exact street. but shes stubborn. ok nvm. when she FINALLY called my aunt up, it's at BENCOOLEN STREET.

i left home on an empty stomach so we had a pit-stop at the fast-food joint there. took a cab over to Bencoolen street and guess what guess what? the taxi driver DON"T KNOW WHERE!! alamak!! i told him,

" Uncle, bencoolen street. the place where they sell party2 stuffs. "

he kept quiet. so i thought, " wah. good ah this uncle. he knows where it is. "

but fark la. he stopped us at NAFA!! fish cake bin fish ball btol!! he said he don't know where the place is so he'll just stop us there! like wth!! just now u don't want to say anything. u drive2 already, earn enough to cover your petrol money then you say don't know! but that doesn't really irritate me. what irritates me the most is that he tried SO HARD to drum to the beat of the song " I don't wanna know " that was playing on the radio.

eh irritation la dey! you don't the beat don't pretend to know can?! sheesh..

so we walked like around 20 mins until i gave up and called my uncle and asked him again. this time round, he said it's at LIANG SIAT STREET. it's just behind Bugis Village and beside the BIG sunny yellow DHL balloon.

adududududu.. if my legs could SCREAM..they'll scream i tell ya. and i can bet on that!

ok. after another 15 mins of walk under the BIG BRIGHT yellow balloon SUN, we reached. and guess what guess what? we spent like only 10 mins in that shop. -.-"

ni smue gare2 yana la. she was craving for it and in the end, i myself was craving for it. =pP a quick catching up with both the gfs that i've missed dearly. enjoying the cool night breeze at the roof top. bloody cold seh.. night sea breeze is a big no no for me.

we didn't nothing but to talk the night away. that's what i love about my gfs. we need nothing but our mouths and that'll make our day. =p

akasha fetched yana home leaving me with fyza to head home by ourself. we went our separate ways as the night was get late.



a short meet up that was long enough to share what's going with our lives. i love my gfs!! ALL of them!!! =) and i CANNOT believe it that we actually DID NOT take a group pic. sheesh..

was down at Vivocity today from 4-7pm for a lil tryout at MaryJane. i have to say, i don't quite like working there. i don't whether it's just me being picky or me not being comfortable there. i don't know why. but you know that, that particular job isn't for you feeling, yes? i felt that. yes, im strange. no, i'm not crazy. =D

the bf was just to lazy too meet up today. grr. the cold rainy weather must have had a side effect on him. perhaps tomorrow. but maybe not. too broke to be going out everyday la. waaa!!

do you sometimes get the feeling that your life isn't much fun as compared to people around you, in this case, your friends? you do have a set of friends of friends that's great, no doubt about that. but somehow, they just spent more time on their other friends then you. and when they finally look you up, it's either because they've got no plans - bored or they need company. i admit i am jealous of those gfs who meet up every weekends to catch up or just chill and get together. oh well..

we were well glued to the seats while watching "the number 23". Jim Carey, who usually takes on a comedian roles, becomes serious and obsess over the number 23. every detail down to the streets they live on adds up to "23" even the colour red when calculated adds up to "23". wanna know how? watch it!

got lost somewhere at the end when the plot was given abit of twist. numerous times, our judgment of who's the author of the book was a dead end. like this both of us cannot make it as detectives la!

the movie was worth the time & money i must say! =) go catch it.

oh the other hand, Mr Bean had us teared up with his never-ending crazy, stupid, zany antiques some of which are a repetitions from previous episods/movies. nevertheless, it was a stress reliever, driving away any traces of stress or worries to a far, far away land. =)

on the 7th of April, i had a small flee market stall set up. and thats how our stall looked like. we were supposed to get 2 BIG SQUARE tables but there's this bloody makcik who is damn kiasu, BOLOT meja tu siang2 like there's no tomorrow. please la mkck, u bringing down masyarakat Melayu, you know! And please, go EDUCATED your nerdy jerk son can or not?! so rude! and i bet he's a pervert!! one look at him and you'll know that he's had too much education in his brains that he HAS to let it out by staring rudely at girl!! BLOOD NINGKAPOO PERVENT!!

the boy obviously came down to give support. did you come down for me or for your sizzie eh b? haha. and there's this particular teenager, should be around my age. she purchased like $50 worth of goods from us!! like OMG!! she just choose and pay! arggh!! you should have seen it. she wasn't even fussy! she didn't even try to bargain. NOT EVEN ABIT. but of course me and sizzie we reduce a bit from even item she purchased. Grand total = $53. we gave her $50 and she slumber-ly said, " Hmm..Ok. Boleh. " i like fast dealers like her.

we had many kinda of customers. and i HATE this particular lady. she was so damn fussy la. mintak kena tampar je tau muke dia!! eeee.. geram betol aku dia buatnye!!


all in all, i managed to cover the rental n taxi fare. that's good news i guess. =) planning to set it up soon. still got lots more to sell. what would i do without flee markets?! =)

updates on my flee markets soon. for now, i just want to slepp my tiredness away..

best la! haha. kinda like re-living childhood memories. shall not say anything more. don't want to spoil the storyline for people who have yet to catch it.

so the day went by as quick as lighting. and i hate it when that happens. met up with the boy after his work. clearance was there too. banked in the pay cheque and off to Thai Express!! had the usual Phad Thai Pelay ( something like that ) which simply translate to Seafood Phad Thai. its Oh-So-Delicious and this dish will be seen in front of me every single visit i make to Thai Express. a day of relaxation turned out to be a day of excruciating pain forced onto my face. one word:
